Is the standard prosthesis really 15 cm long?

Yes.

Standard hairpieces come in a length of 6 inches, or approximately 15 centimeters.

The actual length ranges from 12 to 15 cm, with the hair measured straightened.

The visible length may vary depending on the curl type.

Why do hedgehogs seem shorter?

Why curls are elastic and spiral-shaped.

Although the actual length is 15 cm, a tight curl looks “shorter.”

The more compact the curl (e.g., 15 mm, 12 mm, 10 mm), the greater the perceived reduction in length.

This is not a defect, but a physical characteristic of curls.

Can I choose a tight curl and then “loosen it”?

It’s very difficult.

A tight curl (e.g. 1.5 cm or 1.2 cm) can’t easily be turned into a natural wave.
